“WIN-LOSE-DRAW-ONE TEAM!”, this is the philosophy that the members of the Tackle Football team abide by. A sport that was once stigmatized as brutish and barbaric, is now being seen in a new light as it has garnered the commitment of over 20 members, and has caught the interests of countless others. Staying true to our motto “Adeficamus”, the Tackle Football team aims to establish and maintain a pedigree of excellence that will once again prove why deCarteret College is the finest in the region. The Tackle Football team fosters physical and mental growth in their members. They teach young men to
embrace their masculinity and, they learn leadership qualities directly from the many prefects and student leaders present on the team.

 

The last time deCarteret College participated in the sport the team was came third (3rd ). Now with their eyes on the prize the Tackle Football team are set to begin their conquest on Friday November 18, 2022 at 2:00 pm in an away match against St. Georges College. It hopes to be a galvanizing bout and
hopefully they can take home the victory.
